Women of America fight back to preserve democracy
Can we make this happen or just wishful thinking? To those who understand the current danger America and the world is facing: America is collapsing right under our eyes. Misinformation, disinformation, and fake news is running rampant, especially from the voices of our current government. And now the tariffs. Imagine a nationwide (and maybe worldwide) campaign to inspire, educate and open people’s eyes to a catastrophic change in the world order that is currently underway and being driven right here in America (not by Russia or China) by the current President of the United States.
American citizens and governments from around the world are being negatively impacted every day by our President and the Republican Congress.
How to step up and fight back? One way is to fight fire with fire. Trump is a clever public relations strategist. He knows how to capture the public’s imagination… And the press. To weaken Trump’s power will take a dramatic, clever and even unthinkable approach with factual messages and action steps that will wake up the American people — and the press.
Trump has captured all the news on every platform every day all day!
Throughout history women have had to fight for their rights. This is to suggest an opportunity for the women of America to form an army of brave, brilliant, smart, charismatic, well-known and admired women whose main purpose will be to out-Trump…Trump and win back democracy and peace here in America and around the world.
And to dream big here… such an “Army of Women” (like WWII) would be supported by an organizing Board lead by (wishful thinking) spokesperson and chair Michelle Obama. Possible Board members might include any number of successful, talented and caring women such as: Laurene Powell Jobs, Oprah Winfrey, Melinda Gates, Mackenzie Scott, Liz Cheney, Taylor Swift, Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, Malala Yousafzai, Jane Fonda, and male supporters of women’s equality like Bernie Sanders.
The “Board” would support and participate in a nationwide campaign of “unrelented action” to preserve our democracy and set the record straight. Such a carefully calculated campaign might include speaking engagements, videos, advertising, social media, influencers, podcasts, editorials, talk shows, news interviews, community events, marches, gatherings, etc. Women all over the country will be invited to join this “tea party” fight to save our country.
