A Billion Bikes for Peace
Inspired by their success last school year, BUHS PeaceJam students report that there will be another bike drive. Students are currently collecting bikes to refurbish. Once done the goal is to distribute them to community members in need of improving their transportation options. Forever concerned about the environment, PeaceJam students are excited about making an effort to reduce the use of fossil fuels.
Bikes will be distributed in early June. The folks at the former 350 VT space on Elliot St. have graciously donated the space for PeaceJam to use as “bike drive headquarters”.
